...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN
HARRISON AND SOUTHERN JACKSON COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM CDT
...

At 119 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Long Beach, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gulfport, Biloxi, Latimer, Gulfport Airport, D`iberville, St. Martin,
Long Beach, Escatawpa, Gulf Hills, Vancleave, Gautier, Gulf Park
Estates, Ocean Springs, Hickory Hills, Moss Point, and Helena.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 40 and 71.
 Interstate 110 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 4.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
