At 119 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts over marine areas along a line extending from Dulac to 8 miles south of Cocodrie. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Waterspouts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. Locations impacted include... Dulac, Cocodrie, Tambour Bay Buoy, Lumcon Center Buoy, and Timbalier Bay Buoy. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
