* Special Marine Warning for...
  Chandeleur Sound...
  Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20
  NM...
  Mississippi Sound...

* Until 145 AM CST.

* At 116 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Cat Island, moving east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
           vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
           Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in injury
           and damage to boats...vessels and oil rigs.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ship Island, Cat Island, Mississippi Sound, and Pass Christian.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
