* Special Marine Warning for...
  Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 610 PM CDT, a gust front associated with thunderstorms over
  Tangipahoa Parsih was located along a line extending from 7 nm
  northwest of Mandeville to near Manchac to 9 nm northwest of Lake
  Maurepas, moving south at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  The Mid Point Of The Causeway Bridge, Mandeville, Lake Maurepas,
  Kenner, Manchac, and Orleans Marina.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
