Southwest Mississippi and adjacent Louisiana Parishes will see wind chills 10 to 15 degrees. The I-10/12 corridors and points south can expect wind chills 15 to 25 degrees. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. * WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Monday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Monday to 6 PM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hard freeze conditions are forecast for areas along and north if the I-12 corridor as well as southwest and coastal Mississippi. In addition, very cold temperatures and wind chills can lead to hypothermia if proper clothing is not worn. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
