...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CST...

For the following areas...
Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas...

At 1102 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Mandeville to near Orleans Marina to near Kenner,
moving east at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
The Mid Point Of The Causeway Bridge, Mandeville, Eden Isle, Lake
Pontchartrain/Lake Maurepas, Orleans Marina, and Kenner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
