Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
1234 PM CDT Mon Jun 30 2025

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue
through Wednesday. The best chance for rain will be late morning
through the afternoon hours. Outside of rain RH values will
remain elevated through the entire forecast with minimum RH
values near or above 60 percent and winds will generally be
light. Daily seabreeze/lakebreeze boundaries can be expected near
coastal areas, allowing for wind shifts to follow. Rain chances
look to diminish slightly during the back half of the week
heading towards the holiday weekend. For Southwest Mississippi,
patchy light fog is expected tonight. Fog formation is most
likely to occur after 5 am and the fog should clear by 8 am.
