906 WGUS84 KLIX 012309 FLSLIX Flood Advisory National Weather Service New Orleans LA 609 PM CDT Fri Nov 1 2024 LAC033-063-020215- /O.NEW.KLIX.FA.Y.0108.241101T2309Z-241102T0215Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ East Baton Rouge LA-Livingston LA- 609 PM CDT Fri Nov 1 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, East Baton Rouge and Livingston. * WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 609 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
