For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Cooler conditions settle in behind a cold front today
that will last at least through the first half of next week.
Additional chances exist for shower/storm development today and
tomorrow with a chance for waterspouts associated with the colder
airmass arrival.

.REST OF TODAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Numerous showers
late in the morning...then numerous showers and scattered
thunderstorms in the afternoon. A chance of waterspouts in the
afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Numerous showers in the
evening...then scattered showers after midnight. A chance of
waterspouts. Waves 3 to 5 feet building to 4 to 6 feet early in
the morning. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot
gales. Scattered showers in the morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales decreasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around
30 knots in the late evening and overnight. Waves 6 to 9 feet.
Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots late in the evening. Waves 4 to 6 feet. Waves
occasionally around 8 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots backing to the southwest
until early morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to
10 knots until early morning. A chance of showers. Waves 2 to
4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the late evening and early
morning.
