532 FZUS63 KDTX 070838 GLFLH Open Lake Forecast for Lake Huron National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 338 AM EST Thu Nov 7 2024 For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure, 30.30 inches, will build over the Great Lakes through this morning. A low pressure system will then quickly move over the James Bay from the west starting late tonight and will strengthen the pressure gradient over the Great Lakes. This will produce brisk westerly winds through the first half of the day tomorrow. High pressure, 30.40 inches, then centers over the Great Lakes by Saturday morning.
