  Northwestern Vermilion Parish in southwestern Louisiana...

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 213 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mermentau,
  and is nearly stationary. The storm will slowly move southwest
  towards Lake Arthur.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Jennings, Lake Arthur, Gueydan, Mermentau, Klondike, Morse,
  Riceville, Egan, Estherwood, and Midland.
