* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA
  out 20 NM...

* Until 915 PM CST.

* At 818 PM CST, a strong thunderstorm was located over Vermilion 31,
  or 18 nm southwest of Marsh Island, moving east at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  South Marsh Island 217, South Marsh Island 239, South Marsh Island
  249, Eugene Island 24, South Marsh Island 236, Eugene Island 28,
  and South Marsh Island 243.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CST for south central
and southwestern Louisiana...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
