Fort Johnson Range Control reported trees down in the Mill Creek and
Range 15 training areas. This damage is in association with a TDS noted
on KPOE radar. Access to the area is limited and further analysis will
be completed using satellite imagery.

Downbursting winds reached the surface near the community of Curtis
where numerous trees were uprooted. Winds at this time were estimated at
80 MPH. The winds continued northeast across several Farm Roads. A
widespread area of uprooted trees were noted along FM 2800. Speeds at this
time were estimated to be 85 MPH. A metal building north of Jasper lost
portions of its roof. Winds were estimated to be 74 MPH and rapidly
weakening at this time.

A swath of damaging downburst winds started near HWY 10 and continued
northeast across mostly the eastern portions of the main Fort Johnson
base complex and across Maks Army Airfield where damage to structures
occurs.
