...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 9 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory Central and Southern
  Louisiana, Southeast Texas, very cold wind chills as low as 15
  expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as
  low as 5 above expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west
  central Louisiana and southeast Texas.

* WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 9 PM this evening
  to noon CST Monday. For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 6
  PM Monday to noon CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
  exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
