* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Kinder.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of wooded areas near the river
  will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:15 PM CST Thursday the stage was 16.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:15 PM CST Thursday was 16.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 8.2 feet Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near White Oak Park.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Goos Ferry Road becomes impassable.
  Calcasieu River from the Saltwater Barrier to the parish line may
  be closed to recreational boat traffic.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:35 PM CST Thursday the stage was 4.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:35 PM CST Thursday was 4.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 1.9 feet
    Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 2.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Minor agricultural flood damage will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:15 PM CST Thursday the stage was 19.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.0
    feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.

* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Salt Water Barrier.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Minor marshland flooding occurs. Flooding
  also begins on River Road in north Lake Charles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5 AM CST Thursday, the stage was 3.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
    maximum value of 4.0 feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

  reading is forecast to be near 12 feet, flooding of forested areas
  near the river will occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:45 PM CST Thursday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CST Thursday was 12.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.8
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
