636 FZUS54 KLCH 240542 CWFLCH Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 1241 AM CDT Sun Aug 24 2025 Coastal waters from the Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GMZ400-241800- 1241 AM CDT Sun Aug 24 2025 .Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays... Light offshore flow is expected to persist through the next couple of days, followed by a more east to southeast flow through the mid/later part of the work week. A stalled boundary in the coastal waters, along with a second front that will move into the area on Tuesday, will keep a chance for mainly scattered convection in place across the coastal waters throughout much of the forecast period.
