GMZ400-102130-
325 AM CST Fri Jan 10 2025

.SYNOPSIS...

A strong offshore flow is forecast to develop today in wake of a
coastal low departing the region later this morning...and Gale
Warnings have been posted through mid-morning on account of
occasional sustained winds and frequents gusts exceeding 35 knots.
Elevated northerly winds will linger through tonight before
building high pressure relaxes the gradient and winds and seas
diminish.

Onshore flow will develop by late Saturday as the center of the
high pushes east of the region. However, winds are expected to
again shift northerly by late Sunday as another coastal low
develops and pulls a cold front across the coastal waters. This
round of offshore flow will then persist through the end of the
forecast period.
