GMZ400-030600- 1225 PM CDT Tue Sep 2 2025 .Synopsis for Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 NM including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays... Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across the coastal waters beyond approximately 20 miles this afternoon through Wednesday morning. The front responsible will push further offshore during the day Wednesday bringing the precipitation to an end. Brief periods of light offshore flow may occur Wednesday with the passage of a weak frontal boundary, but will turn back onshore Wednesday night where they will remain through early next week.
