...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ROCK...NORTHEASTERN
LOUP...NORTHERN GARFIELD AND SOUTHWESTERN HOLT COUNTIES THROUGH 1130
PM CDT...

At 1042 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Rose, or 24 miles north of Taylor, moving southeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Calamus Reservoir State Recreation Area, Deverre, Homestead Knolls
Campground, Virginia Smith Dam, Valley View Flat Campground, and
Carson Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
