...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT FRONTIER AND SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN
COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM CDT...
At 154 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Eustis to near Stockville. Movement was east at
50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Eustis, Stockville, Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area,
Quick, Orafino, Bluegill Haven Campground, Willow View Campground,
Freedom, Red Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area, and Dancing Leaf
Earth Lodge.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 41.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
southwestern Nebraska.
