An area of upper level low pressure, anchored over the southern
high plains, brought dreary conditions to western and north
central today. Rain entered southwestern Nebraska and had lifted
into the Sandhills by the afternoon. Afternoon highs ranged from
the middle to upper 40s over southwestern Nebraska, to the middle
to upper 50s over north central Nebraska.

The upper level low will track to the north overnight, tracking
through Nebraska on Saturday. Showers will continue across the
area tonight into Saturday, before exiting northeastern Nebraska
late Saturday night. Lows tonight will be in the 30s. Highs
Saturday will be in the 40s.
