This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

The combination of very dry air and gusty south winds will result in
critical fire weather conditions today across the panhandle and
Sandhills. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the afternoon and
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Summertime temperatures return Wednesday, while humidity stays low
and winds relatively gusty, at least during the first half of the
day. Elevated fire weather continues Thursday and Friday. Much
warmer temperatures are expected again Saturday as humidity drops
further and winds pick up, raising the potential for critical fire
weather conditions.
