This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible across far north central
Nebraska early Thursday morning. The threat for severe weather is
low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A return to above normal temperatures, gusty south winds, and dry air
will lead to elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions Friday
afternoon. The area of greatest concern will be west of Highway 183.

A storm system moving through the area this weekend will bring
rain and thunderstorms, peaking late Saturday into early Sunday.
While severe weather is not expected, locally heavy rainfall will be
possible mainly for areas south of Highway 2.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
