This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight.

Two rounds of rain and thunderstorms appear possible for the Fourth
of July holiday. The first round is likely from late morning through
late afternoon with strong to severe thunderstorms possible. The
primary concerns would be damaging wind gusts and heavy rain though
isolated instances of large hail cannot be ruled out.

The second round is possible late this evening into the overnight.
At this time, confidence in this second wave of thunderstorms is
more limited but damaging wind gusts and heavy rain will again be
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening with some
storms being strong to severe. Damaging wind gusts and heavy rain
will again be the main concerns with the area of greatest concern
being west of Highway 83.

Daily rain and thunderstorm chances exist Sunday through Thursday.
At this time, heavy rain appears possible Sunday with additional
severe potential uncertain beyond that.
