This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon into the
early evening hours due to a combination of above average
temperatures, dry air, and strong northwest winds gusting as high as
50 miles per hour. A Red Flag Warning is in effect across all of
western and north central Nebraska through early evening. Any
existing or new fires will have the potential to spread rapidly.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Saturday through
Tuesday across the area.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
