This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Bitterly cold temperatures and dangerously low wind chills continue
through tonight. By late tonight wind chills will be down to 35 below
zero for much of Nebraska west of Hwy 183 and north of Hwy 2. Elsewhere
wind chills will be down to 25 below zero. Hypothermia and frostbite
of unprotected skin may occur in just minutes, and unheated pipes
without insulation may freeze.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Bitterly cold temperatures and dangerously low wind chills continue
with wind chills Monday morning down to 35 below zero for much of
Nebraska west of Hwy 183 and north of Hwy 2. Elsewhere wind chills
will be down to 25 below zero. Hypothermia and frostbite of
unprotected skin may occur in just minutes, and unheated pipes
without insulation may freeze. The dangerous cold will ease later on
Tuesday.

Beyond Tuesday, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is
low.
