.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon. Although
humidity will drop into the 17-22% range today, wind will be the
limiting factor for a greater concern. Northwest winds around 10
to 15 miles per hour this afternoon. Overnight humidity recovery
around 60-65%. with winds shifting to the south at around 5 miles
per hour.
Critical fire weather conditions are then expected to develop Monday.
West winds gusting around 25 to 30 miles per hour will combine
with humidity as low as 12% during the afternoon hours. These
gusty winds persist through sunset, before weakening overnight to
below 10 miles per hour from the northwest. Overnight humidity
recovery tomorrow night to 75-85%.
