Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central for Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain limited over the next several days
and into the weekend. Most of western and north central Nebraska
still has snow covered ground, largely limiting fire weather
concerns. Additionally, minimum relative humidity values remain
above 50 percent through the weekend.

Very windy Thursday with a northwest wind 25 to 35 mph with
gusts to 45 mph. Light snow is also likely through the day with
amounts from 1 t 2 inches across the northwest Sandhills including
the Pine Ridge, with a dusting to a half inch across the remainder
