.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will increase today as a cold front moves
through the area. Drier air is expected behind the front which
will drop min RH values around 17 to 25 percent across western
Nebraska, with lowest values across fire weather zone 204.
Northwest winds will increase to around 25 to 30 mph with gusts up
to 45 mph in the afternoon across western Nebraska. This will lead
to elevated fire weather concerns generally across western
Nebraska or fire weather zones 204 and 210.
Beyond Sunday, fire weather concerns should remain low through
mid-week with higher humidity values returning, min RH generally
35 percent or greater.
