.DISCUSSION...
Overall fire weather concerns will generally remain low into the
first part of next week with very cold temperatures and some light
snow mainly across northwestern Nebraska. However winds will
remain brisk and cured fuels outside of any snow cover will remain
available to burn.
By the middle of next week temperatures will warm closer to
seasonal normals and minimum humidity will dip into the 20 to 30
percent range mainly south of Hwy 2. Tuesday looks particularly
dry with an expansive area of minimum humidity 15 to 25 percent
for most of central Nebraska and southwesterly winds will gust 20
to 30mph. Wednesday appears to be the day with the highest wind
potential as northwest winds behind a cold front gust 30 to 40mph
or more.
