Through 0700 AM, numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will spread across the Florida Straits, Hawk Channel, nearshore gulfside waters, and the Florida Keys. Clusters of showers are moving west at about 10 to 15 mph. The strongest showers are currently located south to southwest of Wood`s Wall and over Key Largo. Storms are capable of generating occasional lightning strikes, wind gusts near 30 mph, and reduced visibility during heavy downpours. Island communities could see rainfall accumulations of a tenth to a quarter of an inch, and an additional inch of rainfall over North Key Largo. $$ AJP
