.NOW...
Through 1000 pm, a large cluster of showers with a few embedded
thunderstorms will track west southwestward at 15 to 20 knots,
through the deep gulf waters west of mainland Monroe from Shark Point
to Chokoloskee. This activity will produce wind gusts of 30 knots,
blinding downpours, and occasional lightning strikes. Elsewhere, a
few showers will move southwestward at 5 to 10 knots, through
portions of the Middle and Upper Keys and surrounding near through
offshore waters. Island locations near the Matecumbes and Long Key
will be most likely to be affected, and receive a quarter to one half
of an inch of rain.
