Through 1030 am, scattered showers and isolated stronger
thunderstorms will continue moving to the northwest at 10 to 15 knots
Florida Keys island chain, as well as thee adjacent nearshore and
offshore coastal waters. Mariners encountering this activity can
expect brief moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind
gusts near 20 knots, and a rare cloud to surface lightning strike.
Over land, some island communities will receive between a quarter and
one half inch of quick rainfall.
