...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR FLOYDS WALL NORTHEAST...

Straits of Florida from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge 20
to 60 nm out...

At 534 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots
and continuous lightning. This thunderstorm was located near Floyd`s
Wall Northeast, moving northeast at 10 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
Floyd`s Wall Northeast and Floyd`s Wall Southwest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.

Prepare for rainfall rates up to INSERT RAINFALL RATE inches per
hour. Make sure bilge passages and scuppers are clean of any debris
or obstruction.

Intense and continuous lightning is occurring with this storm. Stay
low, or go below. Lower VHF antenna, outriggers, fishing rods, and
umbrellas. Avoid open areas on islands and sandbars. Do not shelter
under tall or isolated trees on nearby mangrove islands.
