...STRONG THUNDERSTORM SOUTHWEST OF SOMBRERO KEY LIGHT...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Craig Key to Halfmoon Shoal out 60 nm...

At 757 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located 12 nm south of Sombrero Key Light,
moving west at 15 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
