...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE LOWER AND MIDDLE KEYS...

Through midnight, several clusters of strong thunderstorms will
continue to move eastward through portions of Hawk Channel and the
Florida Straits, approximately 10 to 15 nm offshore of the Lower and
Middle Keys, and stretch southward through the distant Florida
Straits. Mariners in these areas will encounter erratic wind gusts
near 30 knots, blinding downpours, rough and confused seas, and
occasional lightning strikes. Stay low or go below, and make sure all
on board are wearing life jackets.
