AND NEARSHORE WATERS AROUND THE MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS...

Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to west end of
Seven Mile Bridge out 20 nm...
Bayside and Gulf side from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile
Bridge...
Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood
Sound...

At 622 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located near Tennessee Reef Light, moving north
at 10 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
Whale Harbor, Channel Key Pass Light, Tennessee Reef Light, Twin
Keys, Long Key Viaduct, Steam Boat Channel, and Little Rabbit Key.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
