**Tropical Storm Warnings Canceled**

* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - All watches and warnings have been canceled

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 470 miles north-northwest of Key West FL or about 470
      miles north-northwest of Marathon FL
    - 31.2N 83.3W
    - Storm Intensity 90 mph
    - Movement North-northeast or 15 degrees at 26 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

At 200 AM EDT, the center of Hurricane Helene was located near
latitude 31.2 North, longitude 83.3 West. Helene is moving toward the
north-northeast near 26 mph. A turn toward the north is expected
overnight, taking the center over central and northern Georgia this
morning. After that, Helene is expected to turn northwestward and slow
down over the Tennessee Valley later today and Saturday.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS

* SURGE:
Coastal Flood Warnings remain in effect for the Upper Keys, especially
the troublesome Bayside Communities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
----------------------------------

Be alert for any lingering wind gusts which could take down weakened
trees and/or power lines, collapse damaged structures, or cause flying
debris.
