Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys

.Discussion...
Dry and cool weather will prevail across the Keys today
through Thursday. Minimum RHs will remain generally above
60 percent today with moderate northerly breezes. A
much drier airmass will spread southward into the Keys
late tonight and Thursday, with minimum RHs on Thursday
afternoon dropping to between 30 and 40 percent throughout
the Keys. North winds of 15 to 20 mph Thursday morning
are forecast to decrease to 10 to 15 mph by the afternoon
when the lowest RHs will occur. The very dry airmass will
only remain in the Keys for a short time, with RHs
recovering to between 80 and 90 percent Thursday night.
