Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
444 AM EDT Sun Aug 24 2025

.Discussion...
A weak subtropical high pressure ridge will dominate the pattern
for the remainder of the weekend continuing into the middle of the
week. This will result in mainly light to gentle breezes,
occasionally becoming variable. Moisture remains plentiful for
the remainder of the weekend and into early week with the main
triggering mechanisms being outflow boundaries colliding with
residual boundaries from earlier convection and other mesoscale
processes. Therefore, expect rain chances of 30% for today and 20%
for tonight through early week as slightly drier air moves in.
Min RH values are expected to be in the mid 60s percent today and
Monday with good RH recover to the lower 90s percent tonight.
