Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
619 AM EST Fri Jan 10 2025

.Discussion...
Dry weather will persist through today with winds quickly clocking
around the compass. Northerly winds this morning will become east
to southeast by this afternoon and evening. This is in response to
a potent surface low currently moving along the north coast of the
Gulf of Mexico. An attendent cold front will sweep through late
Saturday. A line of showers may precede this frontal passage with
light amounts possible. Otherwise, winds becoming increasingly
southerly will help to advect moisture across the area keeping min
RH well above 50 percent through the next couple of days.
