Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Wave Detail will include details about the period and direction of origin for the highest energy waves. A reinforcing cold front will then push through the marine zones Thursday night, with yet another surge of strong northerly winds expected from Friday into the first half of the weekend. High pressure will then slide into the Southeast U.S., allowing breezes to relax, becoming moderate to fresh and clocking around to the east.
