Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Wave Detail will include details about the period and direction of origin for the highest energy waves. Long-period swells coming from a different direction than the wind would be included in the Wave Detail. This front is expected to push through the Keys coastal waters tonight and Monday, resulting in freshening north to northeasterly breezes. Due to this, Small Craft Advisories are becoming increasingly likely for the Florida Keys coastal waters tonight and Monday. Breezes will modestly slacken Monday night and Tuesday, before another more potent cold front pushes through the Keys sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday, bringing a stronger surge of north to northeast breezes.
