...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL LAUREL...
SOUTHWESTERN KNOX AND NORTHERN WHITLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT...

At 351 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Youngs Creek, or 10 miles north of Williamsburg, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Williamsburg, Barbourville, Julip, Swan Lake, Moore Hill, Clate,
Birdseye, Goldbug, Gausdale, North Corbin, King, Jarvis, Louden,
Krupp, Youngs Creek, Bark Camp, Gray, Permon, Wilton, and Barton.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 13 and
28.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 10 and 26.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Laurel County near mile marker 0.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
