...Brief Period of Freezing Rain Conditions Through Noon on Some
Sheltered Valley Roads...

Patchy rain continues to move east across eastern and southeastern
Kentucky this morning. Many sheltered roads in valley locations
have remained below freezing despite the rain and warmer air
temperatures just off the ground, resulting in pockets of slick
travel surfaces.

Temperatures will continue to rise through the rest of the
morning, and any patches of freezing rain should be relatively
brief. Nevertheless, caution should be used if traveling this
morning. Assume wet roads could be icy. Conditions should improve
for all areas by early afternoon.
