.DISCUSSION...High pressure will continue to gradually depart to
the east today, while a cold front will begin to approach from
the Central U.S. Southerly winds between these systems will be
gusty at times today with record or near record highs. The front
will be weakening as it arrives, but is expected to bring showers
to the fire area arriving by Wednesday morning. Measurable
rainfall is expected, with about two tenths of an inch forecast
for the Red-Goblin Fire from late tonight into Thursday.
