272 FNUS73 KJKL 131055 AAA FWSJKL Spot Forecast for White Oak RX...UPDATED National Weather Service Jackson KY 555 AM EST Wed Nov 13 2024 Forecast is based on ignition time of 2300 EST on November 12. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. Please contact our office if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. .DISCUSSION...High pressure will keep the area dry for most of the day with winds of 5 to 6 mph generally from the southeast during the afternoon while RH bottoms out near 35 percent. As the high pressure retreats to the east, we will see a wetting rainfall arrive tonight in advance of a cold front and low pressure system passing through the Ohio Valley. The potential for a soaking rainfall continues to increase with this system as such probabilities are now between 90 and 100% for at least 0.50 inch of rainfall across the majority of the eastern Kentucky. Another high pressure system follows that front with a subsequent seasonably cool, dry spell lasting through the upcoming weekend. .TODAY...
