Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky...UPDATED
National Weather Service Jackson KY
640 AM EDT Thu Apr 17 2025

...Low Relative Humidity This Afternoon...

.DISCUSSION....Surface high pressure has crested over the central
Appalachians earlier this past night which will now allow a
strong warm up to commence. Clouds increase again this morning as
an upper level disturbance approaches and then brings a small
chance for a passing shower during the afternoon and early
evening. After a dry and breezy day on Friday, better rain chances
arrive over the weekend.
