Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
417 PM EDT Sat Oct 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will bring warm and dry weather
through Sunday afternoon. A cold front will sweep through eastern
Kentucky on Sunday evening with a chance of showers and
thunderstorms for locations generally east of Interstate 75 and US
25 E. Rainfall from this for most locations will only be a few
hundredths of an inch at best. Behind that front, dry conditions
and below normal to near normal temperatures settle in for the new
work week. Humidities should bottom out below 40 percent for most
areas each afternoon from Monday to Friday.
