Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
415 PM EDT Thu Mar 27 2025

.DISCUSSION...Clouds will thicken this evening into tonight as a
warm front lifts northeast into the Ohio Valley. This boundary
will bring the threat of showers, mainly light, to many locations
overnight into early Friday. The best chances for measurable
rainfall (at least 0.01 inch) are northeast of US-421. A more
significant storm system looks to reach eastern Kentucky late in
the upcoming weekend with better chances for soaking rains and
some thunderstorms.
