Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
524 AM EST Sat Nov 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...A nearly stationary boundary will give way to a passing
cold front later this morning. With frontal passage, showers and
storms will begin to dissipate from northwest to southeast. Surface
high pressure will build into the region and remain in place through
the weekend into early next week. A surface low will bring wetting
rain back to the region for Tuesday through late Wednesday night.
Surface high pressure returns for Thanksgiving.
