Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
308 AM EDT Thu Aug 28 2025

.DISCUSSION...Reinforcing cold fronts will keep an unseasonably
cool and dry air mass over the area through the remainder of this
week. An increase in moisture by early next week looks to bring
a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms early
next week.
